Take on a swim, bike, run triathlon in 2013 over a distance you can achieve
UK Triathlon are proud to be holding this event again, now in it's second year. The aim of the People's Triathlon is to get everyone involved with the sport and to embrace the national spirit. With distances to suit every ability, this prestigious event will take place at the beautiful Dearnford Lake venue in Whitchurch, Shropshire on the 11th August.
The event starts with an open water swim in the extremely clean lake, then a cycle around the country roads followed by a run around the lake. The inaugural People's Triathlon has very limited space and is expected to fill fast once again so make sure you enter early.
You can take part individually or with your friends as a relay team of three and if you like you can raise money for a charity!
As you cross the finish line you will be awarded your 2013 finishers medal to keep for life for your personal achievement.
The People's Triathlon is centrally located and open to all abilities nationwide so enter today and secure your place in one of the most prestigious and spectator friendly triathlon venues in the UK.

Camping will be available for anyone wanting to make a full weekend away. The lakeside café serves delicious breakfasts, lunches and afternoon teas and you can purchase local produce from the in-house pantry. To find out more about the lake, please click here.
Perfectly situated with easy road links makes Dearnford Lake within an hour’s travel of Birmingham, Manchester & Liverpool and central for those further afield.
