Charity Partners

UK Triathlon have links with the following charity partners who we will contact on your behalf so they can send you everything you need to raise funds.

You can, of course, raise money for the charity of your choice, maybe a cause local to you and dear to your heart, but you will need to contact them yourself to let them know you are competing on their behalf.

Be on the team that will get you to the finish line.

Wear our vest, digest our expert fundraising, nutrition and injury prevention advice and take a look at our top training tips.

There are over 200 different types of cancer and we are the only charity tackling all of them. Every step we make towards beating cancer relies on every pound, every hour, and every participant.

More than one in three of us will develop cancer at some point in our lives.

Thanks to research, one day cancer will be a different disease. One day all cancers will be cured.

For over 100 years our doctors, scientist and nurses have been working tirelessly to help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Each day more than 400 people can now expect to reach their 10-year milestone of surviving cancer.

Thanks to our amazing supporters survival rates across all forms of cancer have doubled in the last 40 years, but we can't stop there. Our ambition is to accelerate progress and see three quarters of patients surviving cancer within the next 20 years.

With you on board we can accelerate our progress and beat cancer sooner.

What money can buy…

-       £6 buys a box of microscope slides, just like the ones used in breakthroughs such as the discovery of temozolomide, which has saved the lives of many thousands of people with brain tumours across the globe.

-       £50 buys a scientific sieve to separate out big bits and small bits of DNA to reveal vital clues about how to beat cancer.

-       £150 buys special chemicals to stain the intricate nuts and bolts of the cellletting our researchers see under the bonnet of cancer cells to learn more about how they work.

When we stand united, cancer doesn’t stand a chance. With relentless determination we can push forward more quickly towards a future where cancer doesn’t have to be feared.

So if you haven't already, choose your event, sign up, get your sponsorship pack sent directly to you and begin fundraising to beat cancer sooner.

Please support your local hospital charity!

Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity is a registered charity which supports the excellent work of Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. We do this by funding state-of-the-art equipment, new facilities and all the added extras which make people’s experience at our hospitals the best it can be.

We also fund specialised training for our staff, which enhances their skills and helps them to provide even better care to their patients. We couldn’t do any of this without the ongoing support, hard work and generosity of our local communities, who donate to and fundraise for the charity.

Our latest appeal is called ‘Everybody Knows Somebody’ and will fund a range of projects to enhance the care and experience for patients living with dementia who use our hospitals.

The NSPCC is the only charity focused on ending child cruelty across the UK. Everything we do protects children and prevents abuse. Our work is driven by the simple belief that no child should suffer, however we know child abuse is widespread and much remains hidden. This is why we help children and families directly through our local services, bring immediate support through our national helplines – including ChildLine - and provide training and support to people who work with children. Currently, 90 per cent of our funding comes from public donations.

We rely on the generosity and support of people like you to help us protect vulnerable children. Join the NSPCC team and receive top notch training and fundraising advice, a personalised t-shirt or vest and lots of support and encouragement in the build up to your event. Take on your challenge for children.

SASH is a youth homelessness charity that works across York, North Yorkshire, the East Riding of Yorkshire and Hull. We prevent young people from becoming homeless by offering them a room in the home of a volunteer ‘host.’

We run an emergency Nightstop scheme which helps young people at a time of crisis, and a longer term Supported Lodgings scheme for those unable to live at home but who do not yet have the skills to live independently. We help around 300 young people avoid homelessness very year. Thanks to our volunteers, we are able to provide a community response to the problem of youth homelessness.
